David Collins

Tell us a little about yourself.

I grew up in Dallas and always dreamed of living somewhere new. After a brief stint in the music business in Nashville post-college, I made the decision to move back home and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I’ve spent the majority of my career in technical roles but eventually chose to pursue IT. In my free time, you’ll find me spending time with my beautiful wife and daughter or working on the ever-growing list of home projects.

Why did you choose to work at Velo?

I chose to work at Velo because of the culture and values that emphasize servant leadership above all else—service to their customers, employees, and community. I knew from the moment that I first met with leadership that there was something special going on here and I wanted to be a part of it.

What do you consider your greatest strength?

I consider my relentless pursuit of learning to be my greatest strength. I have a natural curiosity to understand why things are the way they are and apply that knowledge to solve complex problems.
