As a 3rd generation entrepreneur, Taylor grew up inspired by his father and grandfather who led successful careers in oil & gas exploration. Taylor started his first business at age 13, and by the time he was a senior in high school, he had incorporated his first company which provided classroom technology solutions to schools throughout his home state of Louisiana. Following his high school graduation, Taylor was selected for an exclusive scholarship opportunity which provided him entrepreneurial motivation and mentorship from the late billionaire, Andrew McKelvey, founder of Monster.com.

While still in college, Taylor built his first IT services company and was an early provider of cloud computing and Managed IT Services for small businesses in Louisiana. In 2015, having relocated his business and family to Dallas, Texas, he carried this experience into Velo IT Group, which is now one of the nation’s leading Managed IT Service providers.

Under his leadership, Velo has been recognized as one of the nation’s fastest-growing privately held businesses by INC. Magazine and has received numerous industry awards and recognitions. As the company continues to scale, Taylor focuses on continual improvement of the organization and the development of Velo’s leadership team.
