Service Coordinator
Tell us a little about yourself.
I'm a recent graduate from Texas Tech University, where I earned my degree in Computer Science with a minor in mathematics. I enjoy problem-solving and working with others, and I've always liked being part of a team-oriented environment. Outside of school and work, I like to stay active by working out and golfing, and I'm a big sports fan. I also value spending time with friends and family and keeping a good balance between my personal and professional life.
How did you get started in IT?
I got started in IT through an IT Helpdesk internship this past summer, which gave me hands-on experience troubleshooting issues, supporting users, and working in a team environment. That experience helped confirm my interest in IT and allowed me to build practical skills outside the classroom. After graduating, I was excited to continue my career by joining Velo IT Group full-time as a Service Coordinator, where I'm now able to keep learning and growing in the field.
Why did you choose to work at Velo?
I chose to work at Velo because the company's values align closely with my own. From the beginning, it was clear that VELO emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and providing great service, which are all things I value in a workplace. I also liked the collaborative culture and the opportunity to learn and grow alongside a strong team.
What do you consider your greatest strength?
I consider my greatest strength to be my work ethic. I take pride in being reliable, putting in consistent effort, and following through on my responsibilities. I'm motivated to do my best in everything I take on and I'm always willing to step in and help when needed to support the team.
