Tell us a little about yourself.
I'd describe myself as someone who's confident in my abilities and genuinely enjoys solving problems. I take pride in being reliable, adaptable, and someone people can count on when things get challenging. I like to bring a positive attitude to my work, and I'm always looking for ways to improve both my technical skills and how I collaborate with others.
How did you get started in IT?
My interest in IT started pretty naturally—when our family computer broke, I took it upon myself to figure out how to fix it before my dad got home. That experience sparked my curiosity, and I realized I enjoyed troubleshooting and understanding how systems work. From there, I kept learning, building my skills, and turning that curiosity into a career.
Why did you choose to work at Velo?
I like to say 'Velo chooses you,' but what I mean is that the company's culture, mission, and standards really stood out to me. I was drawn to the environment, the opportunity to grow, and the chance to work with a team that values both performance and innovation. It felt like a place where I could contribute meaningfully while continuing to develop professionally.
What do you consider your greatest strength?
My greatest strength is my ability to adapt and stay solution-focused. When challenges come up, I don't get stuck on the problem—I focus on figuring out the next step forward. I'm also someone who's always willing to learn, which helps me continuously improve.
