Why velo
Support
You talk to a real engineer who already knows your setup, not a queue and a ticket number.
Strength
Resilient infrastructure with quarterly drills. When something breaks, your business does not.
All four in one agreement, one fixed monthly fee. That's the Velo Method®.
No overage charges, no add-ons, no surprises.

We keep the platforms your practice runs on fast and secured, and we build to the obligations your clients and bar rules impose.
How it starts
No pressure, just perspective, and a straight answer on fit.
A fixed monthly fee tied to your user count, before you commit.
Pre-onboarding handles the transition. Then we flip the switch and show up on-site.
Have internal IT? We co-manage. Your team keeps the systems they own, and we bring the security stack, tooling, and engineering depth behind them.
how we price
One fixed monthly fee, tied to your IT user count. It covers IT support, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and strategic guidance. No overage charges. No surprise add-ons.
The only line item we'll ever add is a planned upgrade or project, scoped and priced before work begins. You'll always know what's coming.

Our team has been working together since 2006 to provide IT strength, strategy, security, and support to growing businesses through monthly, fixed fee agreements. Business owners and administrators experience a huge relief in IT management burdens when they make the decision to switch to our managed IT services program. They get the full benefit of our comprehensive approach to proactive IT management we call – the Velo Method SM.
The goals of the Velo Method SM are simple – reduce IT issues and allow business owners to focus on production rather than technology. The methodology itself is a finely tuned machine combining proactive IT maintenance, strong IT best practices, strategic IT planning, the industry’s best IT security tools, and world-class IT support.
Yes. Velo IT Group® works alongside in-house IT staff at law firms rather than replacing them. Your in-house lead keeps the institutional knowledge of your partners, your matters, and your culture, and you add a full bench behind them: a 24/7 SOC, after-hours coverage, dedicated vendor management, fractional CIO strategic guidance, and project capacity for migrations and rollouts. Most firms find this is the model that finally lets their internal IT lead get ahead of the work instead of staying buried in tickets.
Velo IT Group® charges one fixed monthly fee per user, with no hourly billing, no overage charges, and no surprise add-ons. The monthly fee covers IT support, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and strategic guidance for the entire firm. Planned upgrades and projects, such as server replacements or office moves, are scoped and priced before work begins. Our Hardware as a Service (HaaS) model lets firms take capital expense and surprise hardware replacements off the table entirely.
Velo IT Group® provides managed IT services for entrepreneurially led law firms with 50 to 150 users, headquartered in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and across Texas and Louisiana, with clients nationwide. We work with litigation, transactional, and mixed-practice firms, including solo offices and multi-office firms. Our Dallas-headquartered team has supported law firms since 2006, with additional offices in Houston, Texas and Lafayette, Louisiana.
It depends on the systems and the targets we set together. Critical systems are designed to come back first, typically within hours. We define those numbers up front, in your recovery plan, so there are no surprises on the day it matters.
Map your existing security controls to what each client and their security team is asking for, and keep that documentation current. Then you respond quickly from evidence instead of scrambling. The win is current, documented evidence of security best practices, not ad-hoc responses for every survey and questionnaire.
The firm itself will not require a formal SOC 2 report, but you do need provable, right-sized security. Your Document Management and Practice Management Solutions should have a SOC 2 Type 2 report and ISO certifications. Larger clients and institutions impose real expectations, and you meet them with strong controls, clean documentation, and industry-leading technology partners - without forcing the enterprise model onto your smaller practice.
