Jeffrey Hudspeth

Tell us a little about yourself.

"I'm married to the most wonderful woman I've ever met, and been blessed with two beautiful daughters.  I love spending time with my wife and kids, playing guitar for the worship team at my church, and lifting up odd heavy objects."

How did you get started in IT?

"I went to school with all plans to become an attorney!  Once I got out of college I interned at a District Attorney's office, while waiting to attend the law school I had been accepted to and I fell into being IT support for the DA's office and the court and quickly discovered I preferred that over paperwork. I've officially been in IT since 2018, and have always had a passion for troubleshooting, problem solving, and fixing things.  IT has given me the platform to utilize and grow these skills."

Why did you choose to work at Velo?

"Velo's next level service that sets them apart from every other MSP drew me here. I wanted to be part of the best group of engineers possible, and that's exactly what Velo has. Their leadership, foundation of beliefs, and people drew me back here and I'm grateful to be blessed to work for such an amazing company."

What do you consider your greatest strength?

"My greatest strength is breaking down obstacles and problem solving.  I wasn't brought up with any of the advantages that people may think, I've been incredibly blessed and I am eternally grateful to be able to serve those around me and help people grow in this incredible industry."
