Davis Arnold

‍Tell us a little about yourself.

"Hey everyone! My name is Davis Arnold, I grew up in Allen, Texas, so I've been a Dallas native just about my entire life. I recently graduated from Abilene Christian with a Bachelors in Information Systems and am excited to have the opportunity to show off what I can do and develop a fulfilling career within the IT sector.

How did you get started in IT?

"I got my start in IT working as the resident IT support agent at Christian Care Communities and services. I was responsible for any issues that our residents may run into such as printer repairs, software updates, and making sure Gunsmoke records on the DVR."

Why did you choose to work at Velo?

"I chose to work at Velo because I was excited about the opportunities that come from working at an organization that pours into their employees while also getting to grow personally by being part of something bigger than myself."

What do you consider your greatest strength?

"I consider my greatest strength is my ability to roll with the punches. It's unreasonable to expect everything to work just the way it's intended all the time, so having the ability to pivot towards new solutions has been a great skill that has helped me pull through in plenty of difficult situations."
