Tell us a little about yourself.

“I grew up in St. Marys, Kansas, and graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. After graduating college, I managed hotels in five different states, Texas being one of them. After that, I decided I was ready to move back and call Texas home.”

How did you get started in IT?

“I got started in IT two years ago, working as a Change Management consultant on an SAP implementation for one of the world’s largest privately held companies.”

Why did you choose to work at Velo?

“I actually reached out to Taylor when I saw the job posting. After talking to him and Katie, I decided this was the place I belonged. They were so kind, down to earth, and motivated to succeed that I couldn’t see myself anywhere else. I knew there would be an opportunity to grow and learn from some of the best.”

What do you consider your greatest strength?

“Patience. Hospitality is my background and being hospitable requires you to be patient with other’s needs and wants. I have also learned to be patient with my own path in life. I’ve learned to not rush and things will happen when they are supposed to happen.”
